Ep. 581 – WildSnake

Do you like Tetris? Of course. Do you like the massive amounts of Tetris adjacent puzzle games? No? What if it is endorsed by Alexey Pajitnov? Maybe? Yeah, that’s how we feel. So this week the Randomizer has us play and discuss the snakely Tetris adjacent puzzle game, WildSnake. We also talk theme parks, rides, sign museums, take a quiz and really get in there deep with some snakes. Enjoy!

Ep. 580 – Bazooka Blitzkrieg

Gadzooks! Of course, the Randomizer chose a Super Scope Game this week – Bazooka Blitzkrieg! It’s…apparently a game where you are a ninja with a Super Scope blowing up robots. So there is that. Tyler and Dave talk about it. They also bring up our little mistaken kerfuffle last week. We take a pretty solid quiz from Ross Rachel Green, So come here us chat about hitting deer, similarly named media, and some about this Super Scope game, to be fair, does offer something you can’t get elsewhere on the SNES.

Did you know about California Games II? That it existed? That it was an SNES game? We didn’t but the Randomizer did. As we do, we recorded a TADPOG episode over just this game – and the amount of time we talk about it is probably longer than it would take you to play it! So come hear us talk about all things California, dreams, kids, and all sorts of other things. We are also pretty sure we killed Farmville with this episode.

Ep. 577 – Football Fury

Football Fury! Yet another sports game brought to you by the Randomizer. Not just sports but football, you know, that thing Tyler and Dave know nothing about. The game is about what you’d expect based on the title and game art – so we brought on Jon and Ian of TADPOG I.T. fame! We do address just about everything we can on the game but also have plenty of fun tangents and real talk about pop tarts, a very specific deodorant, and Americanized fast food Mexican desserts. Well, luck of the Randomizer not be with us - Winter Olympics: Lillehammer '94 was the draw for this week. Have you heard of this game? Have you seen this game in the wild? Are you familiar with Lillehammer outside of the Netflix show? Nope, not for us either. So we talk Olympics. We talk Cartoon Olympics. We talk, most importantly, about the vast catalog of Ernest movies and shows. So sit awhile and listen.

Ep. 575 – Nobunaga's Ambition

Nobunaga’s Ambition is…well…ambitious. And it certainly isn’t about revenge despite how many times Tyler tries to say it is. This week the Randomizer dealt TADPOG a card that made them grumble but turned out to be a surprise. So come listen to some chill LoFi game chat with plenty of odd tangents as we talk about this war strategy “dad” game.

Ep. 574 – Jim Power: The Lost Dimension in 3-D

Jim Power: The Lost Dimension in 3-D has arrived! I know it’s been a long time coming and everyone has been on the edge of their seat to hear about this game…hey, it sucks. There, now that is out of the way come enjoy us talk about the Genesis, Night Trap, a little Borderlands 3, a touch of Rogue Legacy, and a quiz about the SNES Adventure games. Come hear us talk and huge amount of trash about this game and all the tangents.

Ep. 573 – Phantasmagoria

Okay, we will be honest. Jim Power on the SNES is pretty bad. We WILL get to it but Phantasmagoria had a bounty on it and Dave had a great time streaming it, SO HERE IT IS. Tyler and Dave talk about books, gaming, and a very British slang quiz with very Americanized British accents and go on in depth about how good Cockney Naruto would be. We do a deep dive into the FMV wonder of it’s time that is Phantasmagoria.
