Ep. 571 – Battle Clash & Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge

The Randomizer ran out of MP last week since time after time after time it chose games we had already played — so we went rogue and decided to talk about some Super Scope games that randomly checked out a few months ago – Battle Clash and Metal Combat: Falcon’s Revenge. Ep. 570 – Yoshi's Safari

In 2020, do you know how to get Tyler and Dave together to beat a game for the show? You have a dark god of chance choose for them to play a Super Scope game. This week, courtesy of the Randomizer, we talk about Yoshi’s Safari for the SNES. BUT NOT JUST YOSHI’S SAFARI. We also talk lush toys, try some Pringles, and discuss different kinds of spiders and how they play into fetishes.

Ep. 569 – Jeopardy! (SNES)

Have you ever heard of a game and just from the title could picture EXACTLY what it would be like? No big surprises. No big disappointments. 100% exactly what you expected. That is our experience playing the entire Jeopardy series of games for the SNES. WE ARE BACK IN THE STUDIO THOUGH, so just give us a chance – we talk bathroom accidents, cam girls, getting older, a little UO, a little Murk Borg, and a little Jeopardy. We promise it’s worth your time.

Ep. 568 – World Heroes

With a title like World Heroes, this game has to be good! Right? And when we say World Heroes you know what kind of game it is! No? Good, we didn’t either. So this week, courtesy of the Randomizer, we play the Street Fight clone “World Heroes”. Maybe the only game where Rasputin and a Nazi Robot are “heroes”. Also, we had to bring on our premier fightologist, Wizened Sage Ian to help cover the game. If you need to hear about building a deck AND the light touch in quantum mechanics then this is the episode for you.

Ep. 567 – NBA Hangtime

WARNING! Let’s get this out right away – this is our first completely remote episode due to COVID-19. There may be hiccups, there may be issues but we did our best because no pandemic can stop this mediocre content from reaching tens of ears! We talk NBA Hangtime and just to round it out we bring back Sandwich Pope Phil Hawkins and first time guest host Usurper Grimm! We talk…pest extermination? NBA Jam, NBA Jam Tournament Edition and Midway vs. Acclaim . If you don’t like the remote feel of it, we totally understand if all you do is download it several hundred times.

Ep. 566 – Legend

Legend. With a name like that, it has to be good, right? Or at least similar to the a plethora of other games that would also fit that sort of name? Yes, the second one. That’s exactly how it is. So the Randomizer dealt Tyler and Dave the side scrolling beat ’em up Legend. We give you a Jack update, how Melissa helped Tyler conquer something that he very much wanted conquered, Dave tells some sweet new Ultima Online stories. So please come check out a pretty okay review of Legend for the Super Nintendo.

Ep. 565 – Brett Hull Hockey

TADPOG DOES SPORTS! TADPOG DOES HOCKEY! Well, we try. It’s evident we aren’t sportmen and hockey is even further out of our depths but, courtesy of the Randomizer, we talk on Brett Hull Hockey! (and Brett Hull Hockey 95). Of course we talk about bathroom woes, Billy Mitchell and his hot sauce, and some good ’90s television call backs. We know our track record with sports here but come check it out!

Ep. 564 – Rex Ronan

Rex Ronan: Experimental Surgeon! Doesn’t that sound awesome?! What could it be about? Did you guess it was an educational spoof of the movie Fantastic Voyage that centers around the dangers of smoking? WOW, VERY GOOD GUESS! Ep. 563 – Raiden Trad

Not since Gradius has there been so much debate on how to properly pronounce the name of a video game here on TADPOG. So RAIDEN TRAD. Is it Rye-den Trad? Ray-den Trad? Who knows?
