Did you know there was a Japanese-only Shining Force game that bridged Shining Force I and II? We didn’t until recently. So we played it. And we talk about it. Hold on to your hats (Bull, Dragon, or Jet) because this episode is all about Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3! It’s a weird little platformer that was released by Nintendo for the Game Boy in 1994. We take some time to figure out if greed is good. We also talk about surgeries and Spider Man, and we take two quizzes. Over the course of the episode we fail to name so many things we reference.

It’s raining bubbles! This week we’re talking about the Capcom shooter-puzzler for the SNES, Super Buster Bros. This game was requested by Sandwich Pope Phil, so we decided to invite him on to defend his suggestion. We open a package from Shadowrunner Kody. We take THREE quizzes!

Ep. 465 – Castlevania: Bloodlines

Tyler armed with Vampire Killer and Dave wielding Alucard’s Spear venture forth on the most horrifying vampire hunt ever. Nah just kidding. We just talk about Castlevania: Bloodlines, the 1994 action platformer for the Sega Genesis. It’s the only Castlevania game to appear on the Sega Genesis! Of course we also talk about Twilight and the sexiest verse to ever grace the pages of the Bible. Choco Chica also makes an apperance to administer a quiz that was written by Bovine Bear Matt Cowan.

Ep. 464 – Kabuki Quantum Fighter

We’ve strapped into our own personal Image Transfer Device (Computer Bed) and have converted our human minds into raw binary data in order to travel through the internet and into your ears. Yes, that can only mean one thing…we’re talking about Kabuki Quantum Fighter, the 1991 action platformer for the NES!

Come get some! This week we’re talking about Duke Nukem 3D, the 1996 first-person shooter by 3D Realms. Does it hold up? Tyler issues an apology to Exalted Lord Mike of Perdue. We talk about War on Infinite Daves. We take a voicemail. Dave issues a Duke Nuke 3D Pop Culture Quiz and Tyler does about as well as you would except.
