TADPOG out with your rad hog out! Surprise, we’re doing another All Calls episode! Dave has had a rough couple of days. There’s another brief Zelda timeline rant. We talk about LOST a little bit. There’s a church camp story. We talk about D&D and Edition Wars. Does Dropbox suck? Important to note: most of these calls are from late July, back when the Beloved Adam War was raging, so keep *that* in mind.

Sandwich Pope Phil joins us to talk about his favorite game for the Sega Genesis (and possibly ever!), Beavis and Butt-Head. We open a package from Archmage Chris Edler and try some tater chips. We pitch Wayne’s Dark Dark Place. We talk about obtuse puzzles. Blue balls! Is it a thing? We talk about controversial television episodes.

It’s time for an All Calls episode (well we’re really doing it because we need a buffer episode before we talk about Phantasy Star IV but we hope you enjoy it anyway). We play some listener voicemails and read text messages. We answer a magical Would You Rather. We talk about using the bathroom with cats. Sandwich Pope Phil goes through our backlog. Yes, we talk about dolphins again.

On this episode we’re finally talking about Aladdin for the Sega Genesis. Which version is better? The Sega Genesis version or the SNES version? Find out! We open a package from Shadowrunner Kody Stinson. We also talk about the new Gilmore Girls, we read a postcard from Austin, TX and take some listener voicemails and text messages.

On this episode we’re talking about Aladdin for the Sega Genesis. We were supposed to talk about NBA Jam, but we already talked about that one back when we were playing through IGN’s Top 100 SNES games. Nope! Totally planned Thanksgiving Episode where Tyler and Dave get real.

Ep. 368 – Diablo

Sandwich Pope Phil Hawkins join us to talk Diablo, the 1996 action RPG by Blizzard. This is a super-sized episode! We didn’t plan it that way but there’s a lot of nostalgia fueled game discussion. And of course some of those sweet sweet tangents. We take the trendiest Facebook quiz about each other. Phil does a TADPOG and Friends live reading of Frog and Toad. Phil attempts to defends his title of TADPOG Sandwich Pope.

Ep. 367 – Gunstar Heroes

Ryan (of being Tyler’s brother fame) joins us to talk about Digital Trends’ 8th-ranked Sega Genesis game, Gunstar Heroes by Treasure. Ryan gives a quiz to Tyler about Dave. We both have a drinky-poo and talk about how our houses smell. We take some text messages! We really earn our explicit tag at several points on this one.

Ep. 366 – The One Where Drew and Bailey Floss With Chest Hair

Drew and Bailey of the Hops and Heroes podcast join us to revive our Better Know A Guest Host series. We try some barbecue sauce courtesy of Micah, aka Exalted Lord Mike of Perdue. Then we learn how to spell barbecue. We talk about games like World of Final Fantasy and Dishonored 2 for a little bit. We pitch an idea for a cart racing game. Most importantly, we issue our first sandwich-based challenge.

Ep. 365 – Jurassic Park (Genesis)

Play as the raptor! This episode should have been about Earthworm Jim, but we already talked about that game way back in 2014. In its place we decided to talk about a game that totally should have been on Digital Trends’ list of top 25 Sega Genesis games: Jurassic Park (Right? Right??). We talk about gum for a little bit and there’s lots of dumb stories, so we hope you enjoy.
