Ever wonder what ShowBiz Pizza would have been like had the Rock-afire Explosion become self-aware with murderous intent? Probably a lot like Five Nights at Freddy’s, which just happens to be our topic of conversation for this episode. After what we like to call a “prolonged intro”, we talk about Digital Trend’s 11th-ranked Sega Genesis game, Pulseman (the Provel of video games) by Game Freak of Pokémon fame. BREAKING! Two castles bearing the banner of fried food are warring here in Paducah, Kentucky! Updates to follow. Ep. 360 – Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya

We’re talking about Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya for the Sega Game Gear. Really what happens is Tyler explains the Shining Force series to Dave. Also on the episode: Tyler returns from a Halloween weekend at Six Flags and Dave eats a pizza. We talk a little bit about what it might be like to work at Panda Express in Six Flags;  we talk about ninjas; and we take a few voicemails and text messages.

Ep. 359 – Fatal Fury

Suit up in your favorite brand-agnostic cap and jacket and join the fight as we go head-to-head about Fatal Fury, Digital Trends’ twelfth-ranked Sega Genesis game. We also take some time to open a package from Shadowrunner Kody Stinson, we talk about D&D a lot, Dave geeks out on the fighting genre (probably exposes some ignorance), we talk about our favorite lady judges from The Voice, also there’s a “Fatal or Fury?” quiz, and of course some bangin’ Whammies.

A new TADPOG spin-off show is conceived. There’s an Oreo debate and a peanut butter tangent. We talk about a few things that bum us out. There’s even a pretty good elephant joke.

Ep. 355 – Phantasy Star II (Part 2)

This is our continuation of Phantasy Star II (kinda). We wrap the game up by assigning beards, glasses and achievements, but we actually spend a lot more time taking a quiz called “The 100% Accurate ‘What Is My Fursona?’ Test” instead. We open a package from Wizened Sage Ian. There’s a story about burst eyeballs in there somewhere. And we end up taking some texts and calls as well.

We’re talking about Phantasy Star II by Sega, the 14th-ranked game on Digital Trends’ 25 Best Sega Genesis games. Tyler got lost; Dave watched two men pee; we open a package full of Mexican treats from Sandwich Pope Phil; and we talk about Doctor Who for a bit.
